Part of our IT team is currently supporting the broadcast of the Youth Olympic Games, at the Olympic Broadcasting Services Madrid.

The 4th Winter Youth Games are being held in Gangwon, South Korea, but editing takes place at the IBC in Madrid on 12 full edit and 8 light edit workstations. In addition to Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, Maxone plugins and the MoovIT software solutions Helmut4 and Vulcano are in use. After 6 days of the event, around 710 Premiere projects have already been created and Helmut has processed 9866 jobs to automate renderings, file transfers and other production-relevant operations.

Our team has successfully connected Helmut with Avid iNews in a production environment and can use iNews rundown planning as base for creating PremierePro projects in HelmutFX. Exports and other work steps also communicate constantly with iNews to enable seamless interaction between editorial and postproduction. We also used the proven EVS integration to create the production triangle.
