For the 2015 production of reality TV show Wild Island, Germany-based MoovIT production services needed to determine how to manage a remote workflow over 6,000+ miles, with filming and production taking place on two secluded islands off the coast of Central America, and post taking place in Cologne, Germany.
With six cameras covering the action, the production team, who were located on a neighboring island one hour away by boat, needed to wrangle 20 to 30 hours of footage they received per day, with zero downtime and a 24-hour turn on dailies. Further, they needed to corral the large amounts of data they received on a daily basis, and make that content available to the Cologne production staff in a timely, safe and organized manner.
